Sorry for a bit late post

Hello hello everyone!!! I know, I know. This blog post is a bit late. And Im really sorry about it. This week was crazy so I decided to write about it. But I better start with how we ( me, Dia, Jozef) started our trip 3 weeks ago. So we are currently in USA. Training in Florida. Enjoying sun, weather, food, people. ITF tournaments were starting so we ended up in a van driving to Jackson, Mississippi! Scenery before our trip was spectacular, rainbow sights 🥰🌈

Trip started around 7-8 pm so it was almost dark. We headed into the night. Legs up coz Jozef took a first turn. And hands up too 🙌

Around 3 am in the morning we decided to change ( after I slept for 2hours). Once I start driving I cant stop! Thats just me!!! 🤣🤭 so I drove all the way to Jackson , until 10 am in the morning. Felt priviliged that all pasengers believed in me and slept all the way 🙂 btw Jozef took a photo of me and Dia in the back with our bags 🤗 Can you spot her? 🙂

Our housing was SUPER -TROUPER!!! We loved it so much! Such an amazing family ( Thank you Cassie) 😍

We had fun night with the fire and marshmallows and s’mores and eating ELK!!! Have you ever tried elk meat??? Every evening we watched some Netflix series. Very funny and relaxing time. Of course we were desperately tired after our night trip to Jackson but we wanted to beat it on the court so we practiced 🙂 this is how it looked like at the end. We gave it all ☺️ happy but exhausted 🤭🤣

So after some injury time I had at home (finger injury), this was my first itf tournament in USA. I won first round against my good friend Lorraine. Green clay is different than red clay. It plays faster but also depends where you are. Sometimes they put too much clay – like here in Dothan so then its pretty slow and bounce is different 🙂 Lost in second round against Talaba. Also, Im happy to announce that Im ambassador for Denise Cronwall Sports Wear 😉 😍😍😍🤪 if you would like to purchase some sport clothes you can use my coupon code SHOPDC6 and get 20% off your price!!!!!👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰

After Jackson we moved to Pelham, Alabama. Only 3,5 hours drive. So easy peasy for us ! 🙂 Weather was not cooperating much so we had lots of rain and delays, but well, thats mother nature 🤗

Another great housing for us with Buffy’s family 😍and cute dogs 🥰🥰🥰 thats heaven for me!!!

My tennis was good too!!! I had to play qualifying and won 2 rounds and then also won first round of main draw !!! 🙂 me and Dia signed up for doubles just for fun. First, we didnt get into the tournament but we were first alternates. Next day, one girl pulled out so we got a spot in doubles draw and we won our first doubles in supertiebreak!!! 🙂 unfortunately we had to play another doubles not long after our first one. We lost it but I was exhausted. I played 3 matches that day 🙂 but all worth it of course. It was fun tournament and great memories. Only wish would be hard court but well, thats life. Next tournament was Dothan, Alabama. Another 3-4 hours drive. Buffy invited us to their cabin house close to the lake on our way to Dothan. We agreed 100%.

Our car was fully packed. Luckily we have a van. Me, Jozef, Dia , Kika and Panna in the car plus all our bags. Jozef solved our logistic situation 👍 it was still comfortable drive , at least for me, I was at the front seat🤪🤭😭

Dothan started great as well because we got our third housing this trip. This time with Paul!!! Army helicopter pilot. How cool is that??? 😱🚁🚁🚁 . We feel so lucky to meet this amazing people on our trips and make new friendships! Plus hear all the stories and ask unlimited questions 🙂

Day after we came to Dothan, we had very hectic morning. Our phones beeping like crazy with EMERGENCY ALRETS ABOUT TORNADO 😖😖😖🌪🌪🌪 it said – go to shelther immediately! We didnt know what to do. I couldnt google any shelter close by. So we decided to stay at home, hide in laundry in case it really hit us. I was checking Twitter every 30 seconds to see the progress. It was coming at us but FURTUNATELY , it didnt hit us. Day before we drove thru the city of Troy and that got hit by it and trees were down and houses destroyed 🏥💨😢. As the tornado and storms passed , my breathing was worse and worse. Maybe you dont know but I have allergic asthma 😦 some things can active it (like cats, pollen, dust, mold) and then I cant breathe well, thats why I use inhaler in case of emergency. That night after tornado, I couldnt breathe 😦 I was short of breath. Wheezing and making other weird noises out of my lungs. Even my emergency inhaler didnt help me. It was serious. I was suppose to play the next day. As you can imagine, my body had no energy to play. Not enough oxygen in my muscles 😖. Withdrawal was the only option. Tournament sent me to one clinic to get a treatment. Doctor gave me two treatments with inhalation. Finally I felt better. Not for very long time tho 😦

After 2 hours I was back to wheezing and short breath. Doctor told me this is serious thing and its life threatning! I had to get another treatment immediately! Stronger now!!! 100% I agreed. Life is precious 🙌🙏 health is number one priority. This time it really helped. I wish no one needs to go thru situations like this. People ask me how I feel at the courts. I just say : Im breathing 😌 thats enough for me. Im breathing 😍 as we are still here, I could enjoy nice players party at the courts with amazing food.

Watching tennis is my passion. Even more when one of my friends is playing so I can support and clap for them. We love cheering for other people and feel connected and excited if they win! Oh and yesterday we had a nice trip to Florida. After my friend’s match, we went to eat lunch together with her roommate. She lost and wanted to fly home. Flights out of Dothan are expensive and not very often. I suggested Atlanta or Tallahasse. She found the flight that same day around 8 pm. But she had no transportation to get there. Of course we agreed to drive her there 👍👍🤪 ultimate drive crazy people 🥰 luckily I realized !!!!- Florida is one hour ahead of Alabama so we had to jump to the car and start driving immediatly. There were some hiccups on the way because they cancelled her trip but then we called the company and talked to some lady we couldnt understand much, but after 30 minutes on the phone with her, there was SUCCESS 🎉🎉🎉 she made it on time and everything was alright 🙂 I felt joy. I helped someone getting home to see family and friends 👍🥰😋 It was just 1,45 h drive there and then 1,45 h back 🙂 My breathing is getting better, finally had a small hit today and hopefully more to come tomorrow 🙌😍 enjoying the life and going thru all the struggles is what it makes so special to be on this planet 😍

Thank you for reading my blog and comment or like if you like 😋🤪🥰

Your Zuz 😘😘😘 kisses

  1. Yes Zuzana ! Thank you for reminding us how lucky we all are to be alive… and on a planet and in an era where tennis actually exists. That is very lucky ! Take good care of yourself !
